VARD TERRY

As President, Vard oversees all of Holloway’s sales and marketing. Vard comes as a second-generation employee of HM Holloway. The Terry family has over 200 years of combined service as employees of HM Holloway, Inc.. Vard has been an employee of HM Holloway for over 45 years, and his youngest son is also with Holloway as a marketing associate.

Vard started tagging along with his dad at a young age to the gypsum mine. He enjoyed being out in the desert riding motorcycles and hunting rabbits. This is where he got an introduction to the gypsum business.

Vard graduated high school and starting working at the Lost Hills facility operating heavy equipment. He also studied Law Enforcement at Bakersfield College with the goal of becoming a Game Warden.

Within a short time at Holloway, Vard was offered an opportunity to join the gypsum sales team. He worked various areas in the San Joaquin Valley and fell in love with sales, quickly replacing his original goal of becoming a Game Warden.

Vard’s favorite thing about his roles with Holloway over the years are the people he has had the pleasure to work with. Holloway is and has been a family owned business. Vard is proud that Holloway has always made sure that we do what they say and stand behind their products.
